Today, I surprised my brothers and sister by showing up for Christmas here in Shelbyville. I had a free flight that was due to expire at the end of the month, so I hopped a quick flight down to TN. To be honest, it's great to get out of the snow and cold for a few days! But I miss my girls- Christmas is not the same without them.
Anyway, all the family came over and we shared food, laughs and presents. It was great to hold my 9 week old niece, Addisyn, for a little while! Tomorrow, we head down to Huntsville to visit my grandma, then back to Nashville to fly back into the arctic tundra. Merry Christmas everyone!
